Agenda for
Beautification Committee Meeting
February 26, 2008 @ 7:30 pm.
- Election of new officers for remainder of 2008 terms; short discussion of 2008 Annual Report and review of Robert’s Rules and time limits on Committee Agenda discussions.
- Discuss current 2008 Committee projects, including forming subcommittees for each project which will meet outside of the monthly Committee meeting, and timelines for following listed events:
* Clean Sweeps (including trash receptacles for Y parking lot);
* Traffic Islands;
* Tree-mendous Event;
* Artist’s Row; and
* MBTA.
3. Discuss proposed 2008 fundraising events, including:
* Spring Plant Sale; and
* Christmas Ball sale.
4. Additional items to be discussed:
* newspaper box project;
* Committee webpage updating;
* America in Bloom-road trip;
* awards for private citizens/businesses; and
* veteran’s memorial improvement.
